Notes
Pricing is calculated per address and assumes assemblies can be readily located, accessed, and tested. See pricing for additional parts and services for more information on extra charges that may appear on your bill if extra work or parts are required to complete a test.
Basic test: testing for lines 2" or smaller, with equipment is installed and maintained in a way that allows us to promptly access and test your assembly. Flooded boxes, buried equipment, hidden box lids, encroaching vegetation, corroded or seized equipment, tight clearances, and deep installations (greater than 24") are examples of conditions which can substantially complicate the work. As such, these may increase the cost of testing and/or prevent us from offering service.
Drop-in testing: unless otherwise arranged in advance, testing for outdoor assemblies is performed as a drop-in service on the next available test route after your order is placed. For these types of service calls, we don't need you to be present, and we're unable to make scheduling arrangements intended to achieve this. We can offer advance notifications before testing when necessary for prompt, safe access - just tell us about your notification needs in the order comments.
Appointment window: refers to limited dates/times in which testing must take place, usually to ensure access to indoor equipment. These are scheduled within a mutually agreed-upon arrival window and are offered for indoor assemblies only. The number of appointments we can offer is very limited, and we are not able to accommodate all appointment requests.
All tests are subject to our terms of service, plus the policies outlined in our FAQ - customers who sign up for service agree to be bound by the terms of both.
